Can I start with Stack and upgrade later?
Yes. Tiers are independent. You can hold a Tier 1 Stack membership while simultaneously running a Tier 2 Fleet prototyping engagement for a specific client. There are no cross-credits between tiers - each stands alone. Many partners start with Stack to learn the frameworks and add Fleet when a concrete deal surfaces.
Are fees refundable?
No. All fees across every tier are non-refundable, non-creditable. Stack is month-to-month cancel-anytime - cancellation stops future charges, but past charges stand. Prototyping fees are for deliverable engineering work (prototype, BOM, compliance memo), not a coupon toward anything. Council and Strategic are annual commitments with no mid-year withdrawal refunds. Stripe checkout requires a checkbox acknowledging the non-refundable terms.
Do I need to buy hardware through Petronella?
No. Tier 2 Fleet is services-only. Your MSP procures hardware direct from any vendor (NVIDIA, Supermicro, Dell, CDW, others) using the bill-of-materials delivered in the prototyping phase. Petronella takes zero hardware margin, holds zero inventory, carries zero warranty exposure. An optional $2,500 procurement coordination fee is available if you want us to run the RFQ and track delivery.
What is the time commitment?
Stack is fully self-paced - LMS courses, templates, and community access on your schedule. Fleet engagements are project-scoped (2-8 weeks depending on the prototyping tier). Council requires roughly 2 hours per month of async curriculum plus optional weekly peer roundtables and a monthly live Q&A. Strategic clients have unlimited async messaging with quarterly 2-hour private coaching sessions.
How many partners do you accept?
It depends on the tier. Stack has no cap - it is self-serve. Fleet is capped at 5-6 prototyping engagements per year due to fleet concurrency and CMMC-RP engineer availability. Operator Council has a hard 20-seat cap. Strategic Partnership accepts a maximum of 3 concurrent clients. These are real operational limits, not artificial scarcity.
What is the Operator Council Charter pricing?
The first 12 seats are offered at the charter rate of $45,000/yr (25% below the standard $60,000/yr). Charter pricing is locked for 24 months for accepted applicants. After 12 charter seats fill, all subsequent applicants pay the standard $60,000/yr or $5,000/mo rate. A $5,000 application and onboarding fee applies and is credited if the applicant is accepted within 30 days.
Is there a guarantee of results?
No. No guarantees of any business outcome are made or implied - including revenue, lead volume, compliance readiness, certification pass rates, deal acquisition, employee outcomes, or exit valuation. Services render upon payment. Outcomes depend on the partner's execution and end-client environment. This is stated in every agreement and confirmed at Stripe checkout.
Do my downstream clients get access to the LMS?
No. The LMS bundle is for your MSP's internal team during your active partnership term. Your technicians, sales team, project managers, and admin staff can all enroll. Your clients (the end-customer organizations) are not included in your team license. If a downstream client wants their own team trained, the right path is to refer them to either the annual subscription at From $997 per learner or our corporate cohort program at From $5,000 per month. We pay a referral fee on closed corporate cohort engagements; ask your partner success contact about wholesale terms.
Can I rebrand or white-label the LMS for my MSP?
Not at the Stack tier. Stack is a Petronella-branded LMS your team logs into through a Petronella-issued account. White-label and SCORM-export options are available at the Tier 4 Strategic Partnership level for partners with the volume to justify the implementation overhead. Do LMS course completions count toward my team's CE renewals?
Five courses in the catalog carry official NC Private Protective Services Board (PPSB) CE codes (PPSB-25-019, PPSB-25-020, PPSB-25-022, plus Mobile Device Forensics CE and Data Acquisition Forensics CE). Team members holding NC PI, security consultant, or expert-witness licenses earn renewal credit through course completion. Other state CE eligibility depends on the licensing board; we are accredited by NC PPSB only and do not represent CE applicability outside that jurisdiction. Other industry credentials (CompTIA CE, ISC2 CPE) recognize self-directed training - course completion certificates from our catalog can typically be submitted toward those CE/CPE programs at the licensee's discretion. Confirm specifics with the certifying body.
