1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Petronella Training Academy Training Academy's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Petronella Training Academy provides online compliance training courses, assessments, and certification tracking. Our services are designed for professional compliance education and are not intended as legal advice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Course Access and Completion

Upon purchase, you receive non-exclusive, non-transferable access to course content. Certificates are issued only upon successful completion of all required modules and assessments with passing scores.

5. Payment Terms

All fees are stated in US dollars. Course enrollments follow the academy 30-day money-back guarantee: you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you have completed less than 25% of the course, measured as the completed-lessons percentage shown on your dashboard. After 30 days, or once 25% or more of the course is completed, the enrollment is not refundable except where required by law. Refunds go to the original payment method. If a technical issue on our side prevents access, contact support@petronellatech.com and we will fix it or refund you. The full procedure is in the academy Refund Policy, which applies together with the Petronella Technology Group, Inc. Terms of Use governing all purchases. We accept major credit cards and process payments securely through Stripe.

Team packs (a block of seats for one course redeemed with a single enrollment code) follow the same guarantee per seat: within 30 days of purchase, unredeemed seats are refundable pro rata and a redeemed seat is refundable only while that learner has completed less than 25% of the course. The first payment for an annual subscription is refundable within 14 days of purchase when no completion certificate has been issued and fewer than 5 lessons have been marked complete across the catalog; a renewal is refundable within 14 days only if no lesson was completed since the renewal date. The corporate cohort is a services engagement delivered by Petronella Technology Group, Inc. and is non-refundable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including courses, materials, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Petronella Training Academy or its licensors. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our content
  • Use our materials for commercial purposes without permission
  • Share account access with unauthorized users
  • Reverse engineer any part of our platform

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of our services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use our services for any fraudulent purpose
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that they will meet your specific requirements. Completing our courses does not guarantee compliance with any regulatory framework.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petronella Training Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
