What You'll Master
Context Engineering is the single most important skill in agentic coding. You'll learn how to structure project context (CLAUDE.md), session context, and task context to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio of every interaction. We've measured 3-5x cost reduction and 4x faster task completion from proper context engineering alone.
MCP Servers give Claude Code access to external tools and data. You'll configure production servers (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, databases), learn the security model, and build a custom MCP server in Python using FastMCP that connects Claude Code to your organization's internal tools.
Subagents enable parallel task execution. You'll learn when to spawn Explore, Plan, and code-reviewer agents, how to structure independent tasks, and the patterns that let you research multiple code paths simultaneously.
Skills and Plugins extend Claude Code's capabilities with reusable workflows and community tools. You'll install skill packs, create custom skills for your team's workflows, and configure plugins like Playwright (browser automation) and Context7 (live documentation).
Advanced Patterns cover headless automation for CI/CD pipelines, fleet operations for multi-machine deployments, and cost optimization strategies that keep your API spend under control as you scale.
