RALEIGH, N.C., April 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Late on Saturday, April 16, 2011, Petronella Computer Consultants, Inc. (www.petronellacomputer.com), a North Carolina-based managed IT computer network support services company, received a call for help. The business of one of their largest clients had been destroyed in one of the tornadoes that had ravaged the state that day. Upon hearing the news, the Petronella team immediately got to work, and by Monday morning — less than 48 hours after the tornado hit — the client was back online and conducting business.
After getting the phone call late Saturday night, the Petronella Computer Consultants team mobilized. At 10 a.m. Sunday, they arrived on site, where they assessed the damage and gathered up the client’s four damaged servers and network equipment before heading to the Petronella Computer Consultants data center in Raleigh. All day Sunday and well into the night, Craig Petronella, president of Petronella Computer Consultants, and three of his network engineers worked nonstop to repair damage and restore data. Their effort paid off when the client resumed business operations on Monday morning.
A Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Veeam and advanced 2x Virtual Computing Partner, Petronella Computer Consultants has been providing disaster recovery, helpdesk support, server backup, computer network security, managed IT and computer repair services locally to companies in Raleigh-Durham, NC as well as worldwide since 2002.
